Healthy & Holding Steady

I’m 7 months postpartum and I have lost all but 3 pounds of my baby weight.

I’m happy to say that I feel great – I feel stronger and wonderful that I’ve come this far since having my daughter.

I’ve lost 1 pound of baby weight every week up until about a month ago. Now, I need to switch things up to tone up.

To get more muscle definition, I plan to add more sleep, increase cardio and more weight training. I know one of the things that has been stopping my progress is sleep. But, now baby is now starting to be more consistent with her sleep schedule, so hopefully that means I’ll get a little more sleep. 😅

Cardio

My cardio has been great lately. I feel like I’m starting to get my speed back during my runs. To help this, I’ve added in mile sprints.

My baby is still a little too small for the jogging stroller. But she’s almost there. Once she fits, it’ll be a wonderful time of year to run as it’ll be cooler. She loves going for walks, so I’m hoping she’ll love to go for a run with just the same.

Weight Training

Weight lifting getting added into my routine. I was previously doing some low weight or body weight exercises. Now, I’m going to start pushing heavier weights and adding more resistance.
